  • Designed to handle slurries, pulp stock and corrosive fluids in process industries
  • “Allines" high-quality metal seated Knife Gate Valves with ground knife gates and lapped seating faces have allowable permissible leakage rate
  • Lapped seat ensures tight closure
  • Equally gland follower provide uniform compression of packing
  • Body: MSS SP-81 requires the valve body to be designed for and hydro-statically pressure tested to 1.5 times the rated working pressure. No visible leakage when tested body
  • Knife Gate: MSS SP-81 requires the gate to be designed for and hydrostatically pressure tested to 1.1 times the rated working pressure
  • Seat: MSS SP-81 has an allowable leakage rate (for metal to metal seated valves) of 40 cc per inch of Diameter, per minute at 40 psi pressure
  • Grub Screw: Secured yoke bush in bonnet
  • Grease Nipple: required to grease filling
  • Acid resistant Ni-resist or bronze stem nut
  • Thrust bearing to prevent seizure of hand wheel hub, for 2" to 12" valves
  • Needle thrust bearings provided in 14" to 24" valves

Flow Directions:

  • Metal Seated Flow: Uni - directional flow
  • Soft Seated Flow: bi – directional flow
  • Larger size and customized design valves on request
  • Full port valve offers and resistance to flow operation is always easy even when valves are operated frequently

Options:

  • Design available with chain-wheel, gear, electric - pneumatic or hydraulic actuator
  • Locking arrangement on request
  • V-Port seat insert available for metering or throttling service
  • Deflection cone design available on request
